I chose this picture because as we know Ansel Adams had a passion for the outdoors. His pictures are simply beautiful; black and white pictures was would he did best. As a young boy Adams has problems fitting in school because of an "earthquake" nose. Adams might have also suffered from dyslexia. Before having a passion for photography Ansel Adams had a passion for music he played and taught himself how to read and play music; playing the piano is what he loved doing. After years of playing he gave up and moved onto photography, specifically black and white photos. In 1927 Adams has created his first fully visualized photograph Monolith, the Face of Half Dome.
With that he described himself as a photographer lecturer and writer.Adams never made a creative photography for environmental purposes even though he loved the wilderness. He had an importance for Yosemite National Park. He would focus on how to make the parks spiritual and emotional to the viewers eyes.
